The Wolverhampton card last night might have seemed like a good opportunity for layers. A more detailed look showed that it was probably more tricky than it would first appear and the results proved it.
The three or four on course bookies and those who blindly lay short priced favourites will be considerably lighter in the pocket this morning after in 5 of the 6 races on the card, the shortest price horse got his nose home in front.
The Master and I both concluded that yesterday was not a day to get involved so we didn’t bet and kept our money in our pockets. Whilst the favourite doesn’t always win, the devil is in the detail and if you don’t work through the cards methodically, you’ll end up out of pocket. Of course, following the advice on this site is a bit of a short-cut as we all put in the hard work for you. I know that as this is The Master’s job, the work he puts into this is the same if not more than if he had a “proper” job.
The Master and The Bookie have both posted up successful lay tips on the site this week and we all appreciate the thanks and donation that we have received. We do rely on the advertising and donations to keep this site going and it can be a little disheartening for us when we look at the stats of donations and adverts clicked. A little bit of help from you would go a long way - thanks in advance!
